Dr. Patrick D. Barnes, DMD

Dr. Barnes received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, minoring in Religion, from the University of Georgia in 2009. He then attended Georgia Regents University in Augusta, GA where he received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree in 2013. He went on to receive an Advanced Education of General Dentistry Certificate from University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2014 and then his Orthodontic Certificate from Augusta University, Augusta, GA in 2016.

He was at the top of his class throughout all his academic career, with many additional achievements and honors, some of which are: Dean’s List: The University of Georgia, 2005 – 2009; OKU certificate of Academic Achievement: Omicron Kappa Upsilon , 2011 and 2012; Dean’s List: GHSU College of Dental Medicine, 2009 – 2013; AES – Outstanding Senior Award: American Equilibration Society, 2013; ICOI: Pre-doctoral Achievement Award: International Congress of Implantologist, 2013; AAO: Senior Student Award: American Academy of Orthodontics, 2013; AAOMR: Senior Achievement Award: American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology, 2013

He is a member of the OKU Kappa Lambda Chapter, American Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists.

He has a wife named Stephanie and enjoys traveling with family, going to the lake and attempting water sports. He loves sports of all kinds, but is a big fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons, and Indianapolis Colts.
